A Delegation from UNICEF visited GCMHP

Ms. Laila Tarazi and Mr. Wasfi Abu Zaanouna, the two coordinators of the group, along with Mr. John Moore, Supporting the CP Area of Responsibility to develop MHPSS minimum standards for the cluster met with Mr. Hasan Ziadah, head of the Gaza Community Centre, and Mr. Qusai Abu Owda, Head of the Projects and Fundraising Department, and Ms. Basma Zaqout, the Project Coordinator at the GCMHP.

This visit was aimed at following up with the progress on the project titled: ‘Enhancing Protection Mechanisms through providing Mental Health and Psychosocial Interventions to Victims of Current Crisis at Border Areas in Gaza Strip’. The donor of this project is oPt Humanitarian Fund and the implementer of this project is the Gaza Community Mental Health Programme. The delegation along with the Programme’s team conducted a field tour which included a mobile station that is run by the GCMHP in Northern Gaza.
